<em>Claudia La Rocco is the founder of <a href="http://theperformanceclub.org/">thePerformanceClub.org</a>, which won a 2011 Arts Writers Grant. She writes about performance for the New York Times and is a founding editor of <a href="http://hyperallergic.com/weekend/">Hyperallergic Weekend</a>. She is a member of <a href="http://offtheparkpress.org/">Off the Park Press</a>, for which she is currently editing an anthology of poems by painters. She is on the faculty of the School of Visual Art’s graduate program in Art Criticism and Writing in New York City, and has taught and lectured at various universities, festivals and institutions. Her writing has appeared in Artforum, The Brooklyn Rail, on failbetter.com, Slate, WNYC New York Public Radio and in the anthology, Viva la Difference: Poetry Inspired by the Painting of Peter Saul.
